Van Aken

Van Aken is a five-story, 108,000 square foot multi-unit housing project that features 110 total units with condo units dedicated to the second and fourth floors and penthouse units dedicated to the fifth floor. It also includes retail on the first floor. Each resident unit is serviced by a gas fired or electric furnace with a high efficient air conditioning system and controlled with a Nest thermostat for total user control. The construction schedule is unique in that it only provided 20 days per floor to install the HVAC systems due to the scheduled grand opening. Our project team planned the construction process with the use of CAD drawings and short interval planning to ensure timely delivery of material and to assist our team in managing productivity for scheduled completion.
