In recognition of our dedication to safety, we were recognized for our commitment to safety and performance in construction with the ABC Step Silver Award in 2016.

Our safety program utilizes the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) through the Associated Builders and Contractors association. As part of our safety policies and procedures we incorporate these key components:

  • Provide 10-hour/ 30-hour OSHA training for workplace safety practices
  • Provide each employee with personal protective equipment specific to their job
  • Conduct safety inspections and monitor safety practices routinely
  • Conduct weekly safety talks to reinforce safety rules and review safety topics
  • Provide mechanical and physical safeguards to prevent injuries
  • Investigate accidents promptly and correct problems immediately
  • Evaluate potential safety hazards during the pre-construction stage and establish a safety plan prior to project commencement
  • Employee safety awards in recognition of compliance with all safety rules and regulations after project completion
